I used the Progress Control Panel to update the reporting server to 11.2.25.1001, applied license, etc. When I click on the New report, the download link provides the 18.0.24.130 version originally installed. Was expecting 19.x.xx.xxxx. What do I need to do to update this?

I am trying to use the export to Excel function of the report server and it opens the Excel file and all the cell borders are gone and the report looks like it does in HTML. Here is image of what it looks like in Excel. We are on 2024 4th Qtr version of the report server. How can I make it look like real Excel file?

Alternatively, once you have Report Server running, just hit the New Report button from the dashboard​—this downloads the Report Designer and you can create reports from scratch.

It does not work for me. Please advise.

I created several reports in Report Designer and uploaded them to our Telerik Report Server. I had the reports send every month on the first the entire previous month. How can I have the subject say Report for {Prior Month} and {Current year} and update every month when it sends out the scheduled email?

 

Is it even possible to get the prior month and current year in the subject every time the scheduler sends out the email?

In the web report designer there is no wizard for the creation of choropleth maps because of this I cannot use a .shp file to create a choropleth map as I would within the standalone desktop report designer. Is there a solution for this issue?

Hello, I have 2 pages detailsection and groupfootersection, I have a chart on groupfootersection and I want it to display on the detailsection.  I have the idea that I should bind it to display on specific location but I don't know how to display it on other page. I know that the simplest solution is to put it on the detailsection. I just want to ask or clarify if there's a way to render the chart from the 2nd page (which is groupfootersection) to the 1st page (detailsection) without replicating/copying the chart to the 1st page. To put it simply, 1 chart render both pages.

Hello, I would like to ask on how to set the parameter value if it is a MultiValue where the value of that parameter are manually inputted. Basically. there's no database involve. 

I tried to use = Array("Data1", "Data2") to customize the value, now my problem is how to set it as a multivalue  and take the array value separately. The idea is if the multivalue of a aparameter was set into True and then its selection value should have "Data1" and "Data2".

We have started exploring Telerik report. at present we are using SSRS. in Telerik report we notice when using progress Telerik report designer i.e teleri standalone report designer app when we pass stored procedure as data source and that stored procedure returning more then one data set only Top 1 data set result will be visible in Telerik report designing app.

   As can be seen from both above screen short Telerik Report design app shows only one dataset under Datasource1 whereas SP send two dataset.

   How can i get both dataset in Telerik report design ??  

I have a Legacy ASP.NET MVC app from 2016. It's hosted on classic Windows Server and has a separate Reporting server app with a 20+ reports that I would like to continue using.

We are currently rewrittig the app to Azure hosted ASP.NET Core api + React for Frontend.

Can you advise how to host the existing reports in a new way?

Ideally we would somehow use the React Report Viewer plugin?

Can Reports REST Api app be made into a separate ASP.NET CORE Api that will provide service for the existing report files?

Hello, I encountered a problem when printing a report. Some rows of the table skip to print continuously  instead it prints to the next page, notice the red circle, it has 5 pages yet in 2nd page, the table row didn't continue to print instead the next row printed to the next page which leave a huge blank space under the row (#) 12.
