This is from your documentation:
Alternatively, once you have Report Server running, just hit the New Report button from the dashboard—this downloads the Report Designer and you can create reports from scratch.
It does not work for me. Please advise.
Thanks,
Morena
We have recently implemented Telerik Report Server on an Azure virtual machine with the following specs:
We haven't yet connected it to our Azure SQL Database, but we are experiencing significant performance issues while simply browsing through the interface or running sample reports (browsing 30s/page, reports 60s+/report). The entire system feels very slow, despite having minimal data or reports set up.
Could you advise on any diagnostics or optimizations we can perform to resolve the slow performance? Are there specific configurations within the Report Server or SQL Server Express that could be causing bottlenecks, given our current setup?
Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Doug Rixmann

Good Afternoon Telerik Forums,
I created several reports in Report Designer and uploaded them to our Telerik Report Server. I had the reports send every month on the first the entire previous month. How can I have the subject say Report for {Prior Month} and {Current year} and update every month when it sends out the scheduled email?
Is it even possible to get the prior month and current year in the subject every time the scheduler sends out the email?
Thank you!

I have updated Telerik Reporting Server on one server and installed it on another server so both servers are running the same version.
On the server I updated under the configuration/designer menu option there is a check box for "Enable Web Report Designer (experimental)" where on the new install the option is "Enable Web Report Designer" is no longer "experimental" why am i seeing this difference with the same versions?
Good Morning,
We started getting this error return when sending an email, any configuration in IIS that needs to be done?
System: Telerik Report Server
Email configuration:
SMTP host: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Use secure connection: Yes
Hi Everybody,
I have for many years embedded my Report files in my ASP applications, now we may want to edit those files on an Azure Server running Progress Report Designer. Is there a way to convert those .vb/c# files to *.trdp, *.trdx, or *.trbx that can be opened by the Telerik Report Designer running on one of our Azure Servers?
Thanks,
Jack
I'm using Telerik Report Server to manage reporting system for different clients. I have one Main category and I created one report in it. This report has two different data sources(DS1 and DS2), which are populating exactly the same data, but from two different data connections(DC1 and DC2) created on the Telerik Report Server.
DS1 is using DC1 and DS2 is using DC2. These two data connections are created for two different databses/instances.
I also created two users(U1 and U2) and gave them specific permissions.
For U1:Read reports in Main Category and Read Specific Data Connection: DC1
For U2:Read reports in Main Category and Read Specific Data Connection: DC2
When I run the report with U2, I'm seeing data populated from DS1.
Why I'm seeing data with user that don't have access to this particular data connection? How these permissions work?
Is there a way to handle this situation in Telerik Report Designer or Telerik Report Server, using one report instead of two?

Hello,
I have a few simple reports and have a question about the CSV export format.
I have attached a screenshot of the report. Exporting to Excel looks great, but when I export a CSV I get this text:
Telerik Reporting v9.2 trial version. Copyright Telerik AD © 2006-2015.

As you can see it is is exporting the textbox names for headers and the header values on each row.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
David
Hi
I would like to organise my reports into folders on report server. Maybe I am missing something but i can only see categories that you can use to folder. I would like to have separate folders for Marketing, Sales etc..
Is this possible?
Love the product btw.
